Where material and illumination become one. A striking set of end tables that were custom designed for a client’s unique space.
The lighter complexion of Turkish olive wood with its wavy, verigated lines are fused with the highly polished, transparent blue resin river that illuminates from within. The integrated under-lighting traces the natural flow of the wood, introducing a quiet note of innovation without pulling focus from the form.
The light is controlled by a modern, low-profile touch-sensitive button designed to disappear into the piece, keeping the experience simple and intentional.
The legs are custom made from local artisan Matt Makala of M&M Metal Design. They are finished to matte-black.
Built as a matched pair, the olive wood is hand-finished with 2 coats of Rubio, followed by 2 coats of Nano 3 ceramic finish over the entire piece providing superior liquid and UV protection while preserving the natural feel and character of the wood.
